The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. Within the Group, you will join the Group Underwriting department, whose responsibility is to optimize the technical performance of AXA’s product offering while ensuring technical risks are well understood and under control.

Within this Department, you will be part of the Employee Benefits (EB) & Health team, in charge of driving Employee Benefits & Health technical excellence at Group Level.

We are looking at a strong candidate to join our team for a duration of 9 months for a maternity cover. This role can open the door to other opportunities later on in the AXA group.

Your job and daily missions:

JOB PURPOSE

Evaluate technical performance of Health & Protection products range, and quality of tailormade solutions to our large clients around the world, drive product technical excellence at Group level and help operational companies implement product-related initiatives

KEY CAPABILITIES 

• Ability to work transversally in a large organisation and align multiple stakeholders at all levels 
• Highly self-motivated with a high level of autonomy and ability to effectively prioritise 
• Ability to effectively convey complex issues into clear and easy-to-understand oral or written presentations in perfect English 
• Ability to relate technical metrics to commercial objectives and communicate these objectives effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders including Group senior management
• Comfortable with complexity and unstructured problem solving

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

• Monitor & evaluate Individual Health and Employee Benefits businesses in the local entities 
• Contribute to the development & maintenance of standards and guidelines related to Health & EB insurance/Health vertical integration and to their implementation in the entities 
• Conduct regular In-Depth Reviews of local entities 
• Ensure the strong quality of the new products developed locally through the Product Approval Process 
• Coordinate & assess all referrals (derogations to the standard framework) to the Headquarter 
• Define & update Health & EB Group Minimum Requirements

• Around 8 to 10 years of experience in EB or/and Individual Health product, pricing, underwriting and/or Health Insurance risk management

Technical skills: 

• Comprehensive knowledge of Health products design, portfolio management and pricing methodologies and tools
