AXA Climate and Altitude

Altitude is part of AXA Climate, who has developed complete business lines to help tackle climate change adaptation (Climate School, Insurance, Software, Consulting for Industry/Agri/Finance/Public sector). Globally, we are a team of 200 climate experts, headquartered in Paris, spread over 5 continents and driven by the same desire for impact. Our purpose is to help Planet Earth become a true stakeholder of all companies, in the same way that employees, customers and shareholders are!

After 3 years of consulting strongly relying on data and modeling, we launched an innovative product to keep growing and maximize our positive impact: Altitude.
Altitude is a SaaS product, publicly released in September 2022. It is a platform dedicated for Infrastructure and Private Equity funds, enabling risk screening in pre-acquisition Due-Diligence, and enabling portfolio monitoring for reporting (such as TCFD). It is an innovative one-stop-shop for sustainability and investment teams, screening climate and nature-related risks and opportunities within minutes, very easy to use, and fully automated.

The Altitude team is growing and already composed of 10 people. We are an autonomous team within AXA Climate, working closely with the consulting teams dedicated to investment funds.
We have already signed 15 clients (ca. 400k ARR) in 10 months, and are targeting much more by the end of 2023.
To keep growing, and accelerating, we are seeking to increase the size of the Sales team with a new Account Executive partly dedicated to the UK market.

Your mission

You will be the second Account Executive to join the Altitude team.
Your main goal will be to grow the number of Altitude’s users by finding and securing new clients. To do so, you will be responsible of the following missions:
- Identify prospects (through cold reach, event particpation, partnerships, personnal network)
- Get meetings to generate new leads
- Understand their needs and convince them to use Altitude (as well as giving feedbacks to Product people!)
- Handle the negotiation and contractual part

Based on your skills and appetite, you will also contribute to others missions related to marketing initiatives, inbound lead, and communication.

We are targeting clients globally, with an initial focus on France and UK. To complement the team, we are looking for someone mainly based in Paris (for proximity with the core team) but focusing on PE firms in London.


Profil recherché

  • Experience: 3-5 years of Business Development in B2B SaaS, including an international Sales experience.
    Experience in startup/scale-up is a strong plus.
    Experience in Climate or Sustainable finance is a strong plus.

  • Sales-oriented: You are a Sales person, you know how to identify new opportunities and close them

  • Customer-centric & Consultative selling: You like to resolve problems for clients and create a real partnership with the people you’re working for

  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus

  • Excellent listening and communication skills

  • Organized and rigorous: you pay attention to details in the execution and the follow-up of missions

  • Interest for Climate Change and ESG topics

  • Fantastic team player, with whom it is cool to work alongside


Déroulement des entretiens

  1. Initial call with Altitude VP

  2. 4 skills-based interviews with team members (can be done within 2 weeks)

  3. Final decision based on a clear scorecard
