The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Associate to join our Disputes & Investigations team in Paris. This is an exciting opportunity for junior professionals with a strong academic background and initial experience in audit, forensics, or dispute advisory.

You will work alongside experienced consultants on complex and sensitive assignments involving internal investigations, financial crime, fraud analysis, and litigation support. The role offers fast learning opportunities, broad exposure to high-profile clients, and the chance to develop a career in a growing and internationally connected team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in corporate investigations involving fraud, corruption, accounting irregularities, and employee misconduct.

  • Support litigation and arbitration matters through financial analysis, damages quantification, and valuation exercises.

  • Analyze financial data, accounting records, emails, and other sources of evidence to identify anomalies, red flags, or misconduct.

  • Conduct background research, assist with interviews and document reviews, and contribute to forensic procedures.

  • Draft sections of reports, presentations, and other client deliverables, in collaboration with senior team members.

  • Participate in project planning, data organization, and internal team discussions.

  • Support the development of internal tools, knowledge materials, and thought leadership pieces.

  • Work across multiple engagements simultaneously, delivering high-quality work under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • A first professional experience (internship or junior role) in audit, forensics, compliance, internal control, or disputes is strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or law.

  • Familiarity with financial statements and accounting principles is required.

  • Demonstrated interest in investigations, litigation, fraud detection, or financial crime.

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.

  • A proactive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, while working both independently and collaboratively.

What We Offer:

  • A dynamic and entrepreneurial environment with exposure to high-stakes, cross-border assignments.

  • An opportunity to learn from experienced professionals across investigations, disputes, forensic technology, and compliance.

  • A flat structure that encourages autonomy, initiative, and accelerated development.

  • Ongoing training, mentoring, and support for certifications and career growth.

  • Access to A&M’s global network, with collaboration opportunities across EMEA and beyond.

  • A chance to contribute meaningfully to cases that matter, early in your career.
