Since the start of Alma’s business activities in 2019, its growth has been exponential: every month, hundreds of new merchants adopt our solutions and thousands of new customers use Alma for the first time.

As of today, Alma works with 13300+ merchants in 10 different countries in Europe but acquiring new merchants remains always a major challenge for us. As an Inbound Account Executive, you will support all merchants who express their wish to install Alma’s solutions and discover their own challenges. In this position, you will manage the entire sales cycle of a market leader and be at the heart of Alma's sales machine.

About the mission

As an Inbound Account Executive working in the Small Market scope, your key responsibilities are:

  • Process all incoming leads via multiple lead generation sources (e.g. forms, events, referrals, partnerships) for merchants with annual sales of less than 5m€
  • Organise introduction meeting with merchants to qualify leads
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from qualification to the merchant’s first sale
  • Optimise Alma take rate of activated merchants
  • Organise and track sales activities via CRM

About you

You will be a good fit for the role if you have:

  • Experience: you have between 1-2 years of relevant experience in similar functions (e.g. Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, Inside Sales, Inbound Account Executive)
  • Fluency in French and full professional proficiency in English are mandatory. Good level in Spanish or German is a huge plus!
  • Strong communication skills

Commercial skills: you are at ease in managing the entire sales cycle, in negotiation & closing discussions
