As part of our Demo Engineering team, you'll join a vibrant and supportive group.

We're seeking an Associate Demo Engineer who will be pivotal in developing, maintaining, and evolving our two main projects, Flagship and Demo Builder, alongside crafting state-of-the-art custom demos. You'll collaborate closely with our Solutions Engineering team to bring Algolia's capabilities to life, leveraging your technical skills to support our growth.

Build, Maintain, and Enhance:

Focus on building our Flagship and Demo Builder products. Our Flagship Demo Platform requires integrating Algolia features into a unified, compelling user experience across different verticals. Demo Builder is our future platform where your creativity will enable you to build a low code platform for Algolians to build demos.

Build and Curate:

Craft demo experiences and prototypes for various devices and industry use cases, including eCommerce, Media, and Site Search. Develop for sales, partnerships, industry events, and more, to tell a compelling story of Algolia's impact.

Evolve and Educate:

Grow your expertise in Front End Development, UX design & backend optimization. Use insights from our customers to improve demos continuously.

What We're Looking For:

• 1-2 years of experience in frontend or full-stack development.
• Strong familiarity with JavaScript.
• Experience with styling using libraries such as tailwind
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning.
• A comfort level using GitHub & Git

Bonus points for:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience working with React, or a front-end frameworks
• Knowledge of NextJS
• Experiences of working with databases i.e Superbase
• Curiosity for UI/UX
• Previous work within an Agile team environment, showcasing your ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings.
