As part of an ambitious strategic plan we are looking for our BRAND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER | UK ON TRADE.
Reporting to the UK Channel manager On-Trade, you Implement AdVini’s Commercial and Marketing strategy and associated budget while being the first AdVini point of contact for the Wholesaler Sales and Marketing team for the day-to-day activity & providing comprehensive reporting on sales / competition / market data. Key focus areas of the job will include :
Accountability for key Customer development. Includes developing and effectively executing specific Annual Customer plans
Identifying new business opportunities: markets, clients, partnerships, or new products and services & creating strategies to successfully reach these opportunities
Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs
Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
Motivating and Training Wholesaler Sales team
Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
Where relevant, co-creating and delivering Category Insights and Strategy to customers that drives commitment and advocacy for the value that AdVini add to their business
Executing strategies to drive targeted brand and portfolio growth including effective marketing budget management and reporting
Analyzing brands of competitors, consumer trends and shopping behaviors
Monitoring the performance of a brand through key performance indicators (KPI)
Achieving profit targets, timelines and budgets
Organizing product launches and promotional events
Managing Marketing Executives working for the brands
Maintaining and growing the brand’s affiliations and partnerships
Maintaining contact with vendors and distributors to get critical input on how product design and implementation can be improved
PROFILE & SKILLS :
You have a previous experience (3/5 years) in Wholesaler key Account Management, ideally completed with other experience in Marketing/Commercial roles and new business development ; ideally in the Alcohol Industry, specifically Wine.
You understand and keep up to date with trends and developments in the UK On-Trade.
You are a commercial thinker, who can see opportunities, identify and exploit business issues with total capacity to quickly build and sustain credibility with key Wholesaler partners.
As a team player, you have strong communication skills and you are willing to add value to the Group and have the ability to inspire and engage with others.
You are fluent in English and preferably have a solid competency in French.
Type of contract : permanent contract under UK legislation or “VIE” Based in Wholesaler location but with some travel primarily within UK
Commencement date : 01.2024
