The process tolerancing engineer has a solid experience and skills in the processes expected for his area of expertise.
He defines the appropriate process stack-up and tolerances to manufacture a product fully compliant with the given design specifications.

Your Main Missions as a Process Tolerancing Engineer will be :

• Participates into the design reviews with a ‘’design to manufacturing’’ mindset / Participe et représente le process dans les revues de plans avec un esprit ‘’design to manufacturing’’
• Proposes product dimensioning in line with equipment & processes deployed in pilot line & gigafactories /Propose une cotation produit fonctionnelle adaptée aux process des usines de production
• Defines the appropriate process stack-up to ensure product manufacturing within design specifications /Définit le tolérancement interopérations permettant de garantir la conformité finale du produit
• Defines product and process opprtunities according to capability studies analysis /Définit les améliorations produit et process possibles en fonction des analyses des études de capabilité
• Ensures tolerancing consistency across product and process lineup / S’assure de la cohérence du tolérancement entre les différents produits et process

Know How

• Process specialist: technical knowledge in the field of automated mechanical machineries and assembly processes.
• Expert in stack-up calculation (product AND process)
• ISO dimensioning and tolerancing standards

Experience

• 10 years of experience in process engineering
• Experienced in multiple operation processes and stack-up calculations
• Experienced in process qualification: capability studies, Calibration, R&R, …

Qualification

• Master of Sciences in mechanical or industrial engineering or other related fields
• Fluent in French and English, German optional

Key behaviour
