We are looking for an experienced Game/Product Analyst -he/she/they- to join our Growth Team. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing key performance indicators across our products to help maximizing long term revenue and analyze and improve the effectiveness of the player life cycle.

You will do that by setting-up AB-tests of in-game features and create dashboards. You will regularly communicate your findings to Product, Management and Marketing teams to ensure your insights are used to inform decision making, to drive the growth of multiple games (focusing with the portfolio of Loop Games at first). You will work inside the Data Team (3 Data Analysts, 2 Data Engineers, 1 Analytics Engineer) and you will report to the VP of Growth.

This position is hybrid (2 days per week at the office) and located in Paris.

The Data team at 52 entertainment is full of talents working on Business & Financial, Product and Marketing KPIs. It is a cross-functional team that connects with all business units (US, Europe, Asia).

The Data team is operating remotely: we talk to each other on a daily basis and organize frequent virtual coffees ☕️.

Missions

  • Support insight-driven decision making for several games

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Live Ops on

  • - A/B testing initiatives

  • - Personalization strategies

  • - Launching new games on the market

  • Develop and define KPIs and models to assess game performance

  • Analyze large, complex data sets representing the behavior of millions of players

  • Design tests that investigate hypothesis and uncover customer insights

  • Create, own and manage an evolving AB test roadmap

  • Create and share actionable presentations and recommendations based on your findings to optimize the product roadmap and soft launch new games

  • You’ve learned to work as a Product analytics for the past 3+ years. You like to discover new problems and investigate creative solutions.

  • Been working in the gaming industry for at least a couple of years, and know a few tricks to get players more engaged in game.

  • While most of your time will be spent working with other cross-functional leaders, you make sure to keep up to date with the latest trends in gaming and analytics.

  • Can easily communicate technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences - from engineers/scientists to business stakeholders - and navigate between big-picture and technical details.

  • Impressive ability to prioritize and weigh impact vs. effort and interest in how Analytics can help unlock faster growth and/or opportunities to increase margin and/or cut costs.

Profil recherché

Your Profile

  • Location: Paris

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Data ( at least 1.5 year in the gaming industry, working on the Product side)

  • Fluent English

  • Highly open minded, diplomat and pedagogical

Your skills

  • Familiar with product analytics concepts and tools

    • Proficiency writing SQL queries and Excel formulas

    • BI tools (Looker, Tableau, …)

    • Product analytics tools (Heap, Mixpanel, …)

  • Strong communication skills and facilitation abilities: Proven ability to break down, explain and defend analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders


Déroulement des entretiens

  • First interviews from February 15th onward.

  • Collecting applications until March 31th

  • Our hiring process is sequential: we know job seeking is a stressful time of life, and we’ll make sure things are transparent from our side. If you don’t pass step 2, we won’t waste your time on step3.

    ### Interview steps:

  1. [Visio-call] Preliminary interview where the scope of mission, our company, your aspirations, and salary compensation are discussed to see if we agree on the important things on both sides (30 min)

  2. [Case-study] Real world scenario, on some data problem + few questions to check that written communication is clear (no more than 45min of involvement)

  3. [Visio-call] Debrief from assignment + Background discussion to get to know you better
