Swan is looking for a Business Account Manager that will grow our business from the inside and help maximize the full potential of our platform and partners. We’re looking for a “general athlete” who is able to take over a role with two main dimensions:
1. Account Management: You’ll be in charge of managing our existing portfolio across Europe. You will nurture relations with our partners (customers), help them market Swan’s offering, understand their needs to increase our penetration and upsell new features to them.
2. Business Development: You’ll be in charge of defining our strategy to make our business grow even faster. You will build up new offerings that will drive our revenue up by partnering with our internal teams (Marketing, Product, Compliance) and our external partners (e.g. card scheme)
This is a key role for us because you will be a direct contributor to our commercial success. Indeed as we sell our product through a B2B2X model, we need to develop our existing business to reach our commercial ambitions.
As such we’re looking for a strategic thinker with both an analytical profile and a strong business acumen, who is able to understand our partners’ markets and to define and lead strategic initiatives. Someone who wouldn’t be afraid of leading a full sales cycle and who considers that a solid “go to market” plan can’t be done without actively discussing with customers & prospects. We need a curious person with an entrepreneurial mindset, willing to learn and comfortable with the technical aspects of our product. Lastly, we’re looking for a team player who will partner with our Marketing, Product and Compliance teams (among others) to ensure our sales organization is always aligned with the rest of the company.
Based in Paris, you will have to travel occasionally to meet our partners across Europe. You’ll be the third person to join Swan’s nascent Business Account Management team, which is part of the wider Commercial team.
