Job description

As Spendesk's Growth Operations Team Lead, you will be leading the team responsible for orchestrating a seamless buyer journey and building out automation to alert Revenue teams to engage with prospects at the right time with the right message.

Your team’s mission will also include building and scaling insights, processes and infrastructure that support collaborative Sales & Marketing programs and drive decision making within our Revenue teams. The Demand Gen Operations team will own all demand gen processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective and regularly reviewed and documented. Your team will also build pipeline management, tracking and reporting processes whilst aligning with key stakeholders along the journey.

Overall, we're looking for a candidate with experience leading a team in a global Marketing Operations or Growth Operations team for a B2B SaaS company. The ideal candidate will have proven experience architecting go-to-market processes, plus be a power user of HubSpot, Salesforce and Looker.

Key areas of ownership:

  • People development : Responsible for the ramp up of new hires and continuous development of the team (individualized & team coaching), you will provide continuous feedback to your team member
  • Team Management : In charge of meeting as well as weekly, monthly & quarterly team meeting & animation
  • Strategic analysis, Insights & business planning : Collaborate with Data and Finance to ensure the business has an accurate view of channel performance and revenue contribution to inform the placement of strategic investments and support budget requests during annual planning processes
  • Data accuracy, compliance & tracking : With high data integrity, your team will provide insights that drive better outcomes in our revenue funnel, such as increased sales efficiency, productivity and revenue generation.
  • Processes definition & implementation : Work closely with the Sales and Marketing leadership in the end-to-end execution of campaigns through to sales closure. Assist in defining the process, playbooks and training sessions on the lead handover process from Marketing to Sales that ensures proper tracking of Marketing’s contribution to the business.
  • Go to market : Drive optimisation of processes that align Sales and Marketing, especially around go-to-market planning and execution, performance management, and cross-functional feedback loops.
  • Hiring : Lead hiring & build a successful Demand Gen Operations team
  • What we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 6 years in Marketing Operations / Demand Generation Operations / Growth operations / Revenue Operations roles, ideally within a fast-growing tech environment & you have already managed a team
  • Robust understanding of modern Allbound strategies and tactics, as well as standard go-to market motions for B2B SaaS companies experiencing hypergrowth
  • Proven skills and experience of automation processes such as lead scoring, routing and responsive buyer journey nurturing
  • Collaborative, you want to build a strong culture of collaboration with our Sales & Marketing teams to maximize their impact
  • Ability to drive Change in the organization & break silos between functions & team
  • Metrics-driven and results-oriented with demonstrated analytical skills
  • Great Communicator : You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong software skills, specifically HubSpot, Salesforce, Looker, Zapier and other automation tools. Experience with Intercom, Salesloft, and data providers, such as Clearbit are a plus.
