As the Financial Controlling intern, you will be the business partner of the Head of Accounting and Controlling Hadrien Chesterkine and the Financial Controlling Analyst Julia Vallade in charge of driving the financial controlling activities.

You will join a Finance team of 8+ talented people (and more to come) to help us succeed in our ambitious mission in a fast growing and highly competitive environment. Based in Paris, you will report to Qonto’s Financial Controller Analyst, Julia Vallade.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻As a Financial Controlling Intern/Apprentice at Qonto, you will:

• Contribute to the preparation of Qonto’s financial reporting (Analytical P&L, Gross Margin calculation analysis, Payroll costs, Features costs and more). You will help provide meaningful insights on Qonto’s figures, with a focus on Qonto’s cost structure.
• Work hand-in-hand with the Financial Controlling Analyst to budget costs of Operational Teams.
• Be a real business partner for our Finance team by providing them with the necessary insights into the various reportings and activities mentioned above.
• Spearhead the automation of our reporting processes to continue supporting our strong growth.

• Academic Background: You have (or currently study for) a Master’s degree with a specialization in Corporate Finance, Audit and/or Controlling.
• Languages: You speak at least both French and English.
• Experience: You have 6+months of experience (including internships) in audit (Big 4), controlling or corporate finance in a fast-paced start-up.
• Mastery: You excel at using Microsoft Office (Excel in particular), strong communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Hyper-growth environment: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, where deliverables and priorities rapidly evolve.
• Analytical mind: You have strong analytical skills and a critical mind.
• Team player: You are able to work strategically, proactively and collaboratively across departments, and build relationships across levels and functions.
