The position

Job description

OVRSEA wants to accelerate its development in other European countries. To do so, we are looking for a talented Head of Sales to build the business from scratch in Italy!
Directly reporting to the Country Manager Italy, you will be in charge of the Business development and you will recruit and lead a team of Account Executives / Managers.

Your missions are:

Sales
Direct contribution to Sales to reach our ambitious objectives in Italy and and build your own expertise and leadership in sales:

  • Hunting on major accounts with high volume/contribution margin for OVRSEA
  • Account management and on customers with the highest upsell potential

Hiring

  • Hiring a stellar sales team to hit our Business Plan’s target & go beyond
  • Build a diverse, gender-equal sales team
  • Create an sales culture/atmosphere that will allow top talent to thrive & grow with the company

Management of the Italian Sales team

  • Maximize the potential and results of each Account Executive/Account Managers
  • Train & coach Account Executives/AM
  • Manage AE/AM performance
  • Manage AE/AM career path
  • Convey to the Sales team an exceptional level of expectation

Reporting

  • Implementation and follow-up of KPI on the efficiency of our sales cycle
  • Set-up a direct reporting line to report on performance & share actions plans to improve.

Preferred experience

  • You are a native speaker in Italian and fluent in English (additional French is a plus)
  • You have 4+ years experience in a similar position and a good knowledge of the italian market
  • You strongly enjoy sales development
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for early-stage challenges
  • You are competitive and driven to achieve goals, you are a “Doer”
  • You are humble, hard worker, super enthusiast, and you share our values (pedagogy)
