The position

Job description

To maintain the quality of this experience as well as to comply with the regulation applying to any bank-grade institution, Lydia needs to develop and operate effective systems, products and tools, notably to process payment smoothly, to perform identity checks or to detect proactively any form of fraud. These key components ensure the integrity of the platform and guarantee the safety of users.

We are looking for an intern to join us as a Tech Product & Operations Analyst to support the teams focused on this core part of Lydia business.

Reporting to our Head of Fraud & Regulatory Operations, you will join his Technical Product Management & Operations team consisting of three Technical Product Managers who are passionate about delivering the highest standards in customer experience and fraud risk reduction.

What you will do :

  • Monitor the live performance of products and challenge KPIs and monitoring modalities to optimise knowledge and reporting ;

  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to obtain actionable insights ;

  • Define and execute operational processes attached to systems/products ;

  • Ensure the smooth running of operations and provide the team with active assistance in case of any incident or bug ;

  • Follow up the launch of new features and products and validate the expected behaviours through app testing ;

  • Identify the existing frictions attached to the usage of systems/products and of their related processes so as to propose improvement areas proactively ;

  • You are from a top-tier engineering school and you look for an internship for early 2023

  • You are methodical and have strong analytical skills

  • You have a proven appetence for fintech startups

  • You are curious about advanced data-driven methods of combating fraud and you are committed to protecting a community of users and becoming an active force in the fight against payment and identity fraud patterns

  • You are interested in previewing upcoming features of the Lydia app and in participating in their evaluation

  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills, in French and English

  • You have a strong sense of initiative and are always ready to optimise your working methods and tools


  • It’s a plus if:

  • You are already familiar with the SQL language

  • You had a first experience as a Product Owner intern or as a Data Analyst intern

  • You will be graduated next year and are interested in getting hired after your internship
