Job Description: The Insurance team

At Luko, Lukooms’ forces are divided into 3 tribes, set up on a product-based organisation. Each tribe has its own roadmap with a product manager and a dedicated tech team: The MRR tribe that focuses on Luko’s growth via the acquisition of new customers, the NPS tribe is aimed at delighting our users throughout the whole life of their contract - claims included, and the TPM tribe that works on building the best connected devices and services to protect our homes.

You will be part of Insurance team.

As part of the Insurance team, you will be involved for designing the best insurance products, for the right price. Your main mission will be to help the underwriting team.
You will be involved in the creation/improvement of any new policy and any launch of new countries. You will also constantly be in contact with the operations teams (Customer Success and Claims) and provide technical guidance to them when required.

Your mission in the Insurance team

• Provide help to create insurance product for households and real estate : home insurance (main residence, secondary home, non owner occupied …), rent guarantee, building insurance, etc…
• Perfect mastery of our products (general T&C, regulation, case law)
• Constant benchmarking to ensure Luko products are as fair, as simple and as transparent as possible
• Contribute to our customer-centric client by spreading your technical knowledge across Luko and make sure our products are fully mastered by claims managers, customer services agents and all other Luko teams (ensure technical support and trainings)
• Help building the pricing model
• Identification of risks related to the product itself, the subscription flow, the legal feasibility
• Work hand in hand with tech and designer to build and display our product in a transparent and simple way, to help our clients understand what they are signing

Who are you?

Must have

• Currently enrolled/graduating in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in an Insurance school (ENAss, Assas, ESA, Ifpass, Dauphine, Paris XIII..)
• You do have an insurance or law background (BTS Assurance or Law degree).
• You know the basics of Word and Excel
• You are curious, proactive, attentive to details and solution oriented.
• High degree of autonomy, drive and energy
• Very collaborative and empathetic individual
• Getting things done attitude, self starter with willingness to roll up sleeves
• Fluent in French, understanding of English and German/Spanish is a plus

Nice to have

• Internship or apprenticeship Experience in the Property insurance sector either on claim or underwriting is a plus
