• Team Focus:

  • Expand and optimize authentication methods (OAuth2, SSO, etc.) and APIs for both internal and external developers.

  • Design, document, and scale Gorgias' public and private APIs.

  • Build and grow a partner ecosystem through the Gorgias App Store and developer community.

  • Focus on API stability, latency, and performance, ensuring the API is mission-critical for internal and external integrations.

Growth Team 💸

• Team Focus:

  • Revamp the billing system and integrations with financial partners to drive product-led growth.

  • Collaborate with Go-To-Market, Finance, and Product teams to align on growth strategies, pricing models, and customer onboarding.

  • Lead efforts in monetization and customer journey optimization, focusing on expanding Gorgias' customer base and driving retention.

Agent Productivity📈

• Team Focus:

  • Work on core features of the Helpdesk product, including ticket routing, SLAs, auto-merge, macros, and rules.

  • Ensure the product is highly available, scalable, and performs well under high traffic.

  • Focus on building features that enhance customer support workflows and integrate seamlessly with Gorgias' overall platform.

Who You Are

• Technical Expertise: You have a strong background in back-end engineering, specifically with high-traffic applications and distributed systems. Desirable experience with Python, Kafka, Flink, or similar

• Leadership: You have 2+ years of experience in an engineering manager or team lead position, with a proven ability to mentor and develop engineers.

• Problem Solver: You can navigate complex technical challenges and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.

• Customer-Focused: You understand the importance of aligning technical solutions with customer needs and business goals.

• Collaboration: You excel in a cross-functional environment, partnering with teams like Product, Design, and Go-To-Market to deliver impactful solutions.
