Main duties

As a junior Accountant/Financial Assistant, your missions will include:

• Accounts receivable and payable
• Bank entries and reconciliations
• Month-end closing ODs (NPF, CCA, PCA)
• Participation in monthly reporting under US GAAP
• Payroll operations
• Customer reminders
• Supplier payments
• Transmission of certain customer invoices to customers via specific platforms
• Lettering of accounts
• Creation of supplier accounts, and entry of supplier invoices
• Creation of settlement templates and preparation of settlements
• Other general accounting tasks

Preferred experience / Education / Job requirements

Skills

• university degree in finance or accounting
• At least 3 to 5 years experience in accounting in a medium-sized company, ideally in an international context.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting
• You are proficient in Excel
• Rigour and precision
• Autonomy and good team spirit
• Sense of result and respect of deadlines
• Very good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in an international and multicultural context

Languages required

English (both verbal & written)
French is a big plus

Other qualifications/requirements

A previous experience within an international environment is a big plus
An interest for the field of education
