Epigene Labs is seeking a Product Manager with 1-3 years of experience of working in technical product management to join our team. As a member of the product team, you will work closely with our product, software, data, and research teams.
We are looking for an empathetic product manager with a strong drive to learn & a passion for making a difference. Your job will involve understanding the challenges & pain points of biologists & computational-biologists working in field of precision oncology and help Epigene Labs create a state of the art platform for precision oncology research.
Key responsibilities
Manage delivery of product backlog and priorities for a multi-disciplinary team in a remote friendly environment
Work closely with engineers to determine the best solution to address product users’ pain points and build software solutions to meet them
Manage communication with users and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights
Monitor product usage & help improve user experience
Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
Plan & animate discovery tasks such as organizing user interviews, design sprints, workshops etc.
Productionalize late stage research topics in collaboration with biologists & computational-biologists
Help define and implement product related metrics
Background
1-3 years of experience in product management, software development or related field with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English
Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in a research driven environment
Curious and humble attitude
Preferred qualifications
Familiarity with product management in a research driven environment.
Working knowledge of healthcare, biopharma and/or oncology.
Work-experience is early stage start-ups.
