Job description

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent requirements and develop recruitment strategies.

  • Source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and referrals.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit through interviews, technical screenings, and assessments.

  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including offer negotiation, reference checks, and onboarding.

Candidate Evaluation and Selection:

  • Evaluate candidates’ technical skills, qualifications, and cultural fit to assess their suitability for specific roles.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed decisions regarding candidate selection.

  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the selection process.

Talent Pipeline Development:

  • Proactively build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates for future hiring needs.

  • Develop and nurture relationships with industry professionals, universities, and relevant communities to enhance the talent pipeline.

Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing:

  • Promote Descartes & Mauss as an employer of choice in the tech industry.

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling job advertisements and employer branding materials.


Preferred experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in recruiting tech professionals, specifically in the fields of data, artificial intelligence, product, and technology.

  • Masters degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field from top university, business school or IEP.

  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting high-caliber candidates in a competitive market.

  • Strong understanding of the tech industry and its talent landscape.

  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools to identify and engage with potential candidates.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.

  • Ability to evaluate candidates’ technical skills and experience effectively.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
