Among the 500+ D-EDGERs, the Product & Engineering Department is made of 250+ enthusiasts coming from all horizons, who reinvent the hotel booking experience for both the traveler and the hotelier. We love to innovate, but also to share our expertise and our experiments through public and internal events: conferences, meetups, collaboration with schools, open-source projects, BBL, book clubs, all-hands, etc.
The role of the Engineering Infrastructure team is to integrate and make available modern and innovative technologies that meet the business and technical needs expressed by all internal teams. It also ensures the management and transfer of knowledge related to infrastructures to all the teams of the R&D department.
You will be joining the “Engineering Infrastructure Team” alongside Guillaume DEFENDINI, Skander REDJEL, Philippe BECHU, Gabriel GARCIA, Jeremy BOUCHET and Priscilla MUNGROO.
You will be reporting to Nicolas Ory, Head of infrastructure
💻 YOUR SCOPE:
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the infrastructure and the management of the Engineering infrastructure team.
You will be participating, with your team, in the strategy of the evolution of the Infrastructures by ensuring in particular, the good progress of the projects, the security, the technological watch, the planning and the distribution of the load of your team in agreement with the other teams of the department (Architecture, Project Manager and Production) by respecting the internal processes.
Ensure and support the deployment of infrastructures throughout the Public & Private Cloud perimeter
Ensure the quality, performance and lead times for the production of applications in the best possible conditions
Organise sprints (Agile mode) in conjunction with other department managers according to the priority of the products to be deployed
Encourage and support the implementation and monitoring of the roadmap by distributing tasks within the team
Be responsible for the choice and deployment of technical solutions in accordance with the defined standards
Ensure active monitoring of new products, equipment and protocols and participate in the continuous improvement process
Ensure technological monitoring
Support the development teams in a DEVOPS-oriented approach
Ensure the development/monitoring of the skills of the Infrastructure production teams
Automate the provisioning of the infrastructure in a Cloud Integration / Continuous Deployment environment (several hundred VMs).
You will be in regular contact with the Infrastructure Production teams to correct/improve the processes in place.
Ensuring that the technical documentation of solutions and processes is written, updated and distributed
Ensure the assistance and support missions to the users of the service (Level 3)
Minimum 10 years experience in an equivalent position

Technical skills :
Good knowledge of Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure solutions and technologies.
Competence in Linux (Ubuntu / Debian / CentOS environment) and Microsoft (Windows Server) technologies.
Knowledge of databases (MySQL / MariaDB / SQL Server / Mongodb).
Knowledge of the DevOps environment
Knowledge of networking (VPN, WAN, LAN, Routing, Security)
Knowledge of Open Source deployment / monitoring tools is an asset (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, etc.).
