As an intern on the Data Engineer team, you will be part of a group of diligent and committed engineers working on crafting, developing, and maintaining Contentsquare's data ingestion pipeline.

Our team handles the collection of several billion events daily, and some of these events originate from non-human users. One of the core challenges we face is identifying and excluding these non-human interactions from the data used by our customers.

To stay at the cutting edge of bot detection systems, we are seeking an individual who can assist us in the following areas:

- Conduct research on state-of-the-art bot detection strategies

- Analyze our production bot data to identify common robotic behaviors

- Develop prototype systems and assess the effectiveness of different approaches

Who are you? 

You are a data enthusiast who derives pleasure from solving problems and substantiating them with data.

You should have experience in at least one backend programming language (bonus points if it's Scala, Java, Golang, or Python).

If you actively engage in side projects related to data engineering, data science, and/or data mining, or if you exhibit a genuine curiosity for these fields, you would be a great fit for this internship.
