Over the years, Atoti+ has proven to be the best solution for analysing terabytes of data in an interactive way. However, even with the advent of machines with tera-bytes of RAM, it cannot handle the petabytes of data that solutions like Google BigQuery can store. Solving this problem currently requires preparation work to either filter or pre-aggregate data.

ActiveViam wants to combine the best of both worlds and enable our Atoti+ solution to directly leverage the storage and compute capabilities of cloud databases like Snowflake or Google BigQuery.

Within a newly-created team of 3 - 5 people in our R&D department, working directly with the CTO, you will build the next solution for multi-dimensional analysis, combining the technology of cloud storage with the performance of Atoti+. Within a fast-paced environment with a start-up atmosphere, you will find ways to query and pull data from cloud storage at maximum speed to power the unique features of Atoti+.

Basic qualifications:

• Graduated from a top-10 engineering school
• Proven programming skills with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, Rust with object-oriented design
• Good analytical and communication skills

Bonus points:

• 1+ year of professional software development experience
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, availability, and internet and OS security fundamentals
• Experience with some of the major Cloud Providers (GCP or others) or Snowflake
