Descriptif du poste

Our Product organization

As a Product Manager Intern, you’ll join an organization based on multidisciplinary teams (feature teams and/or impact teams), composed of developers, Product Designers and Product Managers. We currently have 7 squads working on various topics and meeting the yearly objectives of the company (OKR).

For each feature or improvement to implement, we go through a phase of Discovery and a phase of Delivery.

During the Discovery phase, the aim is to decrease the risks linked to the feature by analyzing our users’ needs, defining our product-market fit, and gathering all the project requirements and goals.

During the Delivery phase, we are using different Agile methods (a mix of Scrum & Kanban) that help us continuously deliver value to our users.

Role

The long-term objective of the API squad is to grow our user base and make this product as simple to use as possible. To help us reach this objective, you will be part of the API Squad and work in pairs with another Product Manager along with several back-end developers, a front-end developer and an Engineering Manager.

Your main mission will be to suggest and drive improvements for our API product, based on regular feedback we get from our users.

On a daily basis, you will:
- Specify and work closely with the technical teams during the Delivery phase for the changes and upgrades to come for our API product.
- Draft the Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to help us study all aspects of the feature: need, solution, design, breakdown into work packages and compliance.
- Update and suggest changes to the product, and communicate as widely as possible on progress made so that all Yousigners are informed about how our product is evolving.
- Measure the usage and impact of all your deliveries over time.

You will also closely work with the other API Product Managers to better understand our users’ needs through numerous Discovery practices, tools and methods (e.g. Design Thinking, Problem/Solution Interviews, concept tests, immersions etc.)

Desired profile

We expect you to have some knowledge of existing delivery practices and an interest in technical products. You will start out with the responsibility of improving our API product based on the regular feedback we get from our users.

Here are some other qualities that could tip the balance in your favour
:

    • A first experience or knowledge in Product Management.
    • The motivation to build the best possible product, centred on the user experience.
    • You thrive in an international working environment and are able to communicate efficiently in English with your peers.

What you will find at Yousign

    • A scale-up that puts product and technology at the heart of its strategy.
    • A management method that promotes empowerment and alignment of all teams around shared goals (OKR).
    • Cutting-edge product methods and culture.
    • An environment that is supportive, demanding and stimulating in equal measure.
    • A genuine remote working culture.
    • Top-class premises in the centre of Paris and Caen, as well as the possibility of working remotely!

As an intern, you will also have the opportunity to:

    • Master Product Management basics on a young product.
    • Learn how to prioritize a backlog and take into account both technical aspects and customers’ feedback.
    • Handle the delivery in a squad and work with many different people from different teams.
    • Attend, participate and organise regular workshops and agile rituals.
    • Learn the basics of discovery in pairs with another Product Manager.
