Within the Markets and Innovation department, your challenge will be to:

• Build a knowledge base on energy news at various scales to inform public engagements of Voltalis leaders and spokespeople.

• Identify the main energy trends of tomorrow to feed Voltalis’ innovation strategy.

  The potential is massive in a number of regions such as Canada, USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and the Nordics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analyses on a range of topics related to the evolution of energy markets, particularly electricity in France and certain target countries.

• Identify the potential impacts and opportunities of macro energy trends for Voltalis’ activities.

• Consolidate and structure the results in the form of documents (e.g. strategic notes, market studies, white papers) tailored to the needs and uses of different internal stakeholders (e.g. general management, international development, innovation management, communication).

• Feed a resource library (e.g. external studies, news, key figures, talking points) that will be used by Voltalis’ main spokespeople in their public engagements.

• Animate a prospective committee and feed its content (e.g. presentation of macro energy trends, identification of new “innovation” topics to be developed, carrying out cross-market studies)

Must Have:

• Strong interest in the energy sector and ecological transition issues.

• Proven professional experience in setting up strategic and competitive intelligence within a research institute, think tank, or the management team of a company operating in a rapidly transforming environment.

• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, demonstrated by a rigorous academic background.

• Excellent writing and speaking skills in both French and English.
