Join Vizzia, a company dedicated to designing and deploying smart cameras for urban environments. As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for defining the electronic architecture of new hardware platforms, making strategic component selections, and overseeing multi-layer PCB routing. You will also lead certification processes, analyze field returns, and drive design reviews. This role offers the opportunity to have a tangible impact on reducing field defects, improving hardware quality, and structuring electronic practices.
Résumé suggéré par Welcome to the Jungle
At Vizzia, we design and deploy smart cameras embedding our own cloud technology, built for cities and demanding urban environments.
Our products operate in harsh real-world conditions: outdoor exposure, thermal constraints, EMC requirements, PoE power supply, and high availability.
We are strengthening our Hardware team to raise our robustness standards, reduce field returns, and sustainably structure our electronic design practices.
Working directly with the Head of Hardware, you will become the technical reference for electronics.
You will be responsible for the architecture of new hardware platforms and accountable for their robustness.
Your impact will be tangible: fewer field defects, higher reliability, and measurably improved hardware quality.
Define the electronic architecture of new hardware platforms
Make strategic component selections
Design schematics and oversee multi-layer PCB routing (high-speed, DDR, storage, PoE)
Integrate EMC, RF, and thermal constraints from the early design phase
Lead CE / FCC certification processes
Analyze field returns and implement design corrective actions
Drive design reviews
Structure and formalize electronic design best practices
Provide pragmatic technical leadership within the Hardware team
This role has a real impact on:
Reduction of field defects
Measurable improvement in hardware quality
Sustainable structuring of electronic practices
8–12 years of experience in embedded electronic design
Proven experience with industrialized products under strong EMC constraints
Strong expertise in high-speed design (DDR, fast interfaces)
Experience with PoE and embedded power management
Solid understanding of RF constraints
Experience with certification and industrialization
Fully autonomous in hardware architecture
Able to challenge, decide, and take technical ownership
Strong focus on robustness, reliability, and product quality
Pragmatic technical leadership mindset
Your work will have a direct and tangible impact: strong execution is critical to the entire development and production chain
You’ll have real freedom to design your own tools and experiment with your ideas
You’ll work on concrete projects (production ramp-up, certifications, etc.)
You’ll grow quickly on highly technical topics (embedded systems, electronics, testing, standards)
