As it turns out, first years were dedicated to the merging and rationalization of the activities and from 2020, the I&O team is more and more involved with business projects, automation, innovation and modernization. Veolia Water Technologies IT Infrastructure & Operations department is being reorganized to face new challenges and provide responsive infrastructure, Operations and performance teams capable of offering more and more great solutions to the business needs. The Infrastructure and Operations team is composed of technically-skilled and open-to-change members who used to be network or system engineers, or programing language developers Essential functions & responsibilities: The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be part of the IT Infrastructure and Operations team and will closely collaborate with all IS&T corporate teams, this may include Digital Teams, FinOps, BI, ERP, Security and others. The IT Infrastructure Engineer has multiple roles and needs to have a well-rounded knowledge of software development, scripting languages and background in designing, building, deploying and maintaining IT Infrastructure and web services in the cloud by using the latest technologies. The duties also include system design, advanced networking, infrastructure as a code (IaC),sSoftware engineering, Cloud Security, automation and tooling that supports the continuous improvement of the SDLC. Additionally the DevOps philosophy is a key change in VWT’s IT culture, and the mission of the Infrastructure & Operations team, as well of the cloud Infrastructure Engineer, is to promote this culture, the tools and practices in order to increase the organization ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity: evolving and improving products at a faster pace than organizations using traditional software development and infrastructure management processes. Design and operate cloud architectures for cloud-based applications, mainly using AWS and GCP Accelerate the way the Corporate IS&T deploys and monitors application stacks Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Ensure all the IT systems that support the business to function efficiently Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix, document problems, and implement preventive measures Coordinate with subcontractors (local, global and offshore partners) Follow iterative and quick-delivery methodologies, such as Agile and Lean startup Participate in technology watch team effortAdditional InformationAs an inclusive company, Veolia is committed to diversity and gives equal consideration to all applications, without discrimination.

Qualifications / Requirements Highly skilled technically Amazon Web services, Google Cloud Platform Security (certificates, encryption, devices security) Network and System skills (Active Directory, DNS, IPv6, Routing) Good knowledge of Cloud serverless architectures and Containers Good knowledge in web dev (Python, NodeJS, ..) and Database (PosgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such asGit, GitLab, Github, CloudFormation, Terraform and Ansible.
