We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer Intern to join our engineering team and support the integration of security best practices into our software development and infrastructure processes.

This internship offers hands-on experience in cloud platforms, automation, security tooling, and compliance frameworks within a healthcare technology environment.

You will collaborate closely with our DevOps, Security, and Compliance teams to help build and maintain secure, reliable, and compliant systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing security automation within CI/CD pipelines.

• Help conduct vulnerability scans and interpret results (SAST/DAST tools).

• Participate in threat modeling and risk analysis exercises.

• Assist in creating and maintaining SBOMs (Software Bill of Materials).

• Work on compliance documentation and help ensure adherence to frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC2, and ISO 27001.

• Contribute to writing infrastructure and application security policies and best practices.

• Support the preparation of regulatory and audit materials.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Familiarity with Linux systems and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, or Ansible.

• Knowledge of basic networking and security concepts (firewalls, IAM, TLS, encryption).

• Awareness of security and compliance principles in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, ISO 27001) is a plus.

2. Technical Interview – Platform manager evaluates cloud knowledge, DevOps practices, and awareness of security and compliance.

3. Meeting with Director of Platform – Discuss motivation, technical approach, and security strategy.

4. HR Interview & Offer Discussion – Review benefits, culture fit, and finalize offer.
