We are seeking a Skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist fluent in both French and English to provide technical support and coordination for end-user computing and EPOS systems. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, collaboration with multiple teams, and occasional store visits during rollout phases.
Provide technical support in both French and English for Windows OS 10/11 Point-of-Sale systems.
Troubleshoot hardware peripherals including printers, scanners, PEDs, and cash drawers.
Demonstrate strong hardware knowledge of bare metal devices, ports, and basic networking.
Execute PC/Till build processes and ensure successful deployment.
Coordinate effectively with:
French customer stakeholders
French Service Desk
Computacenter technicians
TCS EPOS Build & Engineering team at offshore India and UK
OmniStore application team
Create and maintain French-language build documentation and knowledge base (KB) articles.
Actively participate in internal and external meetings, providing clear communication on issues and scenarios.
Visit retail stores as required during training room setups or pilot rollout phases.
Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
Proven experience in IT support or similar technical roles.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience handling POS machines.
Familiarity with remote deployment tools (e.g., ManageEngine).
Knowledge of touch screen configuration for colleague vs. customer-facing screens.
