Sweep is hiring an Senior Analytics Engineer for our pioneering carbon management software.

As an Senior Analytics Engineer at Sweep, you'll play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by providing insights and building robust data models. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.

More specifically, your mission will involve:

• Developing and maintaining scalable dbt models to support reporting and analytics use cases
• Collaborating with business partners to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
• Creating intuitive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
• Conducting data analysis to identify trends and insights that support strategic decision-making
• Ensuring data quality and governance by implementing validation checks and monitoring processes
• Supporting data-driven decision-making by providing stakeholders with actionable recommendations
• Working with the data engineering team to optimize data processes and ensure performance

Qualifications 🏆

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in an Analytics engineering, BI Engineer, Data Engineer or a similar role
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling techniques
• Strong experience working with dbt for data transformation and modeling
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake
• Proficiency in BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
