Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor Reverse Osmosis Overview: For a desalination plant construction project: S upervise and lead installation works in Reverse Osmosis (RO) building for: • RO Racks (including headers) • RO Membrane loading • HP pumps • ERD (energy recovery device) The main responsibilities are to manage mechanical e quipment works within quality, schedule and budget, and avoid claims. Preparation work: • Prepare installation sequence for equipment and p iping. • Review supplier quality documentation. • Prepare detailed procedures, method statements, l ifting plans, and ITP / ITR. • Review and comment Engineering deliverables such a s equipment supplier drawings, isometrics, civil guide drawings, GA drawings, e quipment list, 3D model. • Prepare BOQ and MTO as necessary with marked-up d rawings • Participate to construction schedule preparation, l ook ahead, manpower and equipment resource loading – in RO building. • Prepare interfaces with Civil partner and Civil S upervisor. Deliveries & inspections: • Conduct material delivery inspections for m echanical equipment, pipe supports, pipe, fittings, in[1]line i nstrumentation, internal and with Client. During Fabrication works • Oversee RO rack fabrication at workshop. • Witness trial assembly and testing. During Construction works • Responsible for preparing and accepting handover f rom Civil. • Conduct civil handover inspections and surveys at s ite. • Supervisor subcontractor’s manpower at site. • Manage direct manpower and subcontractors for m echanical equipment installation and testing to ensure quality works in line w ith construction schedule and avoid claims. • Conduct site inspection and coordinate with QC to e nsure all ITP / test sheets are completed. • Provide inputs for weekly progress reports. • Other activities as requested by Lead Mechanical S upervisor or Construction Manager During Commissioning works • Assistance during pre-commissioning and c ommissioning. • Prepare punch list and the follow-up. HSE & Ethics • Followed the HSE procedures and Ethics policy. • Ensure proper Health and Safety in work areas. • Responsible for the safety of the work and must c oordinate with the HSE manager. • Ensure proper Safety in work areas Education: Graduate of Bachelor’s degree or above, License engineer Experience Requirement: 5-10 years’ hands-on professional experience on Mechanical Supervisory or related job role Experienced mechanical supervisor with experience in RO (Reverse Osmosis building) on previous water treatment plants. Experienced in RO rack installation and RO membrane loading. Well-recognized leadership and coordination skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to convey complex ideas, strategies, and messages effectively.
