Job description

Let's talk about The People team  ⭐️

People are our greatest strength and we are on a mission to drive our company’s growth, whilst ensuring we have the best people at hand to help us to do this. Our People team at Stuart consists of 6 People areas: Acquisition, Development, Operations, Culture and Social Impact, Reward, and People Partners. Together, we build experiences and processes that define the employees' journey with us, which is essential to us here at Stuart.  We embrace the Stuart brand and help bring it to life. Our culture is also a central focus enabling professional development, flexibility, and effective relationships.

Let’s talk about the role  🙌

The People Operations team is looking to hire a People Operations Manager to oversee all the employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, employee relations, and project work.  We are therefore looking to find the right candidate who has a good understanding of the People Operations’ dynamics and a thorough knowledge of labor relations in Europe, especially in Poland & Spain (with knowledge of practices in Portugal, Italy, and the wider EU, in general, an advantage). This is an incredibly varied role with a significant opportunity to have a huge impact and make a fundamental difference. You will be granted trust, autonomy, and freedom to deliver results whilst working as part of a highly collaborative team. You will be working with a team based in Barcelona, consisting of another People Ops Manager and People Ops Associates.  This position is either to be based in Barcelona or Warsaw office.

*Please kindly attach your CV in English.

What will I be doing? 🤔

  • Providing guidance on Employment Relations relations and practices e.g’s grievances, performance issues, dismissals, procedures, and compliance.

  • Collaborating and coordinating global projects with the Culture, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Reward, and People Business Partners.
  • You will be working closely with another People Ops Manager and you will support 2 HR Associates so collaboration with the other People Ops Manager to help develop them and support them with personal and professional growth is key.

  • Management of the visa process and leading the payroll for the relevant countries.
  • What do we need from you? 😎

  • Ability to problem solve in the short and long term - the ability to process map (Project Management skills).
  • Confident in communicating with multiple stakeholders - written and oral, Presentation skills, Employee Relations knowledge and legislation, IT literate and competent with G- suite application.
  • Experience in supporting and opening in other countries/entities and exposure to expansion.
  • Fluent in English and Polish (Fluent in Spanish would be an advantage).
  • The stuff you wanna know 😉

  • Family-friendly work-life balance - hybrid working scheme and flexible hours 🏡
  • Ticket Restaurant by Edenred (€11 daily) 🥗
  • Unlimited access to Udemy for all your learning and development needs 📚

  • At Stuart, we believe that employees today want to evolve in collaborative, high-growth environments where they can demonstrate their abilities and thrive both professionally and personally. We are convinced that employees need to find alignment between their inner values and their company’s culture and mission to unlock their full potential. We work to create a culture of empowerment, continuous learning and growth where everyone can bring expertise, own projects and easily measure their impact 🙌
