Descriptif du poste

🔥 Why Stockly needs you

Stockly is a highly technical platform tackling one of the hardest problems in e-commerce: real-time, cross-merchant inventory sharing at scale. As a Business Developer, you’ll be responsible for building and growing Stockly’s merchant network across Europe.

This is a full-cycle, high-impact role:

  • You are responsible for identifying and targeting the most impactful prospects

  • You fully own the relationship from first contact to establishing a long-term partnership

  • You directly impact Stockly’s growth, revenue, and market positioning

  • You help define and refine our go-to-market strategy

This role is ideal for sales profiles who are looking for ownership, impact, and intellectual challenge, not just closing deals.

🎯 Your mission

As a Business Developer, your goal is to grow Stockly’s partner network by closing high-quality partners and building long-term business relationships. You’ll operate at the intersection of sales, go-to-market strategy, and partnerships, with varied dimensions in the job: business, technical, operational, legal.

💪 Your responsibilities

  • Research, identify and qualify potential partners across European markets, understanding their business models, pain points, and growth ambitions

  • Own the full sales cycle:

    • Outbound prospecting

    • Discovery calls

    • Pitching Stockly and offering partnership terms

    • Negotiation and closing

  • Educate prospects on Stockly’s model, making sure to adapt to their specificities and clearly articulating the outlines of a partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Business, Tech and Operations teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding and successful adoption

  • Track and analyse performance metrics, continuously refining your outreach and go-to-market strategy

  • Contribute to strategic projects which will impact Stockly’s exogenous growth

🤝 Who you’ll work with

  • The Business Development team, a small but highly impactful team within Stockly. Every member targets prospects across Europe, and focuses more on large local markets (France, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc.) according to each team member’s language and cultural preference. You’ll be able to work across different targeted countries and develop multi-market expertise

  • Founders and leadership, with direct exposure to strategic decisions involving various poles (Tech, Operations, Admin, Finance)

  • The core commercial team, shaping how Stockly expands across European markets

You won’t work in a silo: this role is deeply cross-functional.

🌟 Why this role is exciting

  • You have a direct and visible impact on Stockly’s growth

  • Every new partner strengthens the value of the Stockly network 👉 https://www.nfx.com/post/network-effects-manual

  • As a salesperson at Stockly, you don’t actually sell anything because our value proposal is to buy goods from retailers or sell goods to retailers

  • You offer complex partnerships across several dimensions (technical, operational, legal, financial), making this process a continuous intellectual challenge

  • Every new partnership is unique: you fall fall into a routine because of the high variety of possible deals

  • You’ll gain deep exposure to e-commerceand marketplace dynamics, including interactions with high-level decision makers in the field

  • You own your sales pipeline end-to-end

📈 Your growth at Stockly

  • You can grow by:

    • Deepening your commercial and market expertise

    • Expanding your scope: new markets, strategic accounts, complex deals

    • Becoming a key contributor to Stockly’s go-to-market strategy

  • As Stockly scales, you’ll take ownership of increasingly impactful initiatives while staying close to the field

👉 At Stockly, you own your development. The more you want to grow, the more opportunities you’ll have.
