✹ The Role

We’re looking for our new Social Media Manager, to own Staycation’s day-to-day social presence & community engagement.

Your mission : to make Staycation’s social media a bold and desirable expression of our brand platform, and to grow engagement of our community through creative, trend-driven, social first content and ideas.

This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who lives and breathes social media culture, equally comfortable ideating, producing, publishing, and engaging directly with the community.

📍 Key Responsibilities

đŸ”„ Day to day management of social media

  • Build and manage the editorial calendar for our key platforms : planning, content ideas, publishing, sponsoring. Key platforms as of today : Instagram and TikTok.

  • Maintain strong community interactions (comments, DMs, mentions, UGC, 
)

🧭 Editorial ownership of Staycation’s social presence

  • Define and maintain content pillars, tone of voice, posting rhythm, and the right balance between brand and social engagement.

🎬 Social-First Content Creation

  • Identify trends and propose content ideas adapted to each platform.

  • Brief and collaborate with external creative partners (studio, freelancers) to bring social content ideas to life.

  • Produce simple formats autonomously when needed.

  • Contribute to influence content relevance and co-creation (relationships handled by BPM/agency).

💬 Community Building & Engagement

  • Develop new rituals, formats and channels to grow and engage the Staycation community - both online & IRL.

  • Turn followers into contributors by fostering UGC, creative collaborations, and ambassador dynamics.

📊 Reporting & Performance Optimization

  • Track, analyze, and report performance with actionable learnings.

  • Champion a culture of test, learn and grow ; explore new platforms & social usages

You will be successful if you:

  • Increase organic reach and engagement vs baseline.

  • Strengthen brand perception through social presence.

  • Nurture a vibrant and participative community.

  • Launch regular creative tests with measurable insights.

  • Provide structured performance reporting.

In your first 3 months, you’ll have:

  • A fully operational editorial calendar

  • Efficient posting & community routines in place

  • 3 new social-first formats launched and tested

  • 1 initiative to reinforce community engagement (UGC, meet-ups, mentions
)

🎯 You’re the Ideal Fit If You Have:

Must-Haves

  • 3-4 years of post-graduation experience in social media for B2C brands

  • Strong mastery of TikTok & Instagram formats, trends, analytics, and best practices

  • Proven community management chops: building conversations, not just posting

  • Editorial creativity with a talent for storytelling and ideation

  • Ability to produce simple social formats (Reels, Stories, TikToks)

  • Data mindset and performance-oriented reporting

  • Perfect written French and English; professional spoken English

  • Thrives in fast-moving, collaborative environments

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with lifestyle, culture, entertainment or experience-driven brands

  • Strategic perspective on influencer and content creator programs
