About the role:
As part of its Strategic Plan, Spendesk decided to address customer growth through two different teams within the Sales Department:
Business Development: Responsible for acquiring new customers
Account Management: Responsible for growing and developing existing customers
As an Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth by nurturing and expanding relationships with our existing customers in Southern Europe (mainly France). You'll manage a portfolio of around 150 accounts with the goal of driving expansion through upsell, cross-sell, and contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
Own and develop a dedicated portfolio of Southern European customers through proactive territory planning
Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle
Understand client needs and business objectives to effectively position our solutions
Maintain strong customer relationships and collaborate with Customer Success Managers
Provide customer feedback to Product, Marketing, and Strategic Partnerships teams
Keep accurate records of interactions and progress using CRM software
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of sales experience in any industry (our onboarding will help you thrive!)
Strong track record of hitting and exceeding quota
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Ability to navigate both high-velocity and value-focused deals
Customer-centric mindset with strong consultative approach
French Native or Fluent
Good level of English
Spanish is a strong plus
Experience in Fintech or Finance teams is a strong plus
