To strengthen our workforce within the Purchasing Team, Project Section, we are looking for a motivated professional to manage activities such as scouting, surveys, RFQs, benchmarking, part follow-up, and purchasing for new projects, in close collaboration with our R&D and Quality departments.

The main sectors in which the candidate will be asked to contribute are varied, ranging from plastics to mechanical structures, and from electronics to electrotechnics. The candidate will report directly to the Project Purchasing Manager.

Responsabilities:

  • Contribute to the development of technical specifications with a “design to cost” approach.
  • Identify potential suppliers in line with the corporate purchasing strategy through scouting, market surveys, benchmarking, RFQ drafting, part follow-up management, negotiations, and procurement management up to the start of mass production.
  • Select suppliers able to meet project targets such as quality, cost, lead time, and general purchasing conditions, in close collaboration with the Procurement and Quality Teams.
  • Manage master data, keep information updated in our ERP/MRP, SRM, and BI systems. Handle purchase requests and purchase orders from sampling and prototyping phases to mass production, both for components and for tools and production equipment.
  • Provide reports to the project team and management, organizing and managing progress meetings with suppliers.
  • Close the project and manage the transition to series production, maintaining technological monitoring for future programs.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering with a specialization in purchasing.
  • 7–10 years of experience in purchasing roles within industrial environments.
  • Excellent command of English, essential for frequent interactions with industrial sites and international suppliers (knowledge of French is a plus).
  • Technical knowledge and curiosity to facilitate interaction with the project team.
  • Autonomy, analytical skills, and rigor for effective project management.
  • Interest in working in a multicultural environment, with strong involvement in human-scale projects.
