The Opportunity

We are looking for a technically astute Revenue Management Specialist to join our high-performing finance team. As we scale, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our topline data and ensuring our revenue operations remain agile. You will own the critical transition from "closed deal" to "billed client," acting as a key bridge between Sales and Finance.

Core Responsibilities

Revenue Integrity & IFRS 15 Mastery

  • Technical Ownership: Manage Deferred Income schedules, ensuring revenue recognition aligns with IFRS 15 and local GAAP.

  • Milestone Tracking: Monitor contract milestones to trigger revenue recognition for complex, multi-stage implementations.

  • Billing Orchestration: Own the invoicing schedule within our CRM/ERP, managing recurring fees, transaction volumes, and one-time fees.

  • Leakage Prevention: Rigorously reconcile sales contracts against billing outputs to ensure zero revenue leakage.

Agile Operations & Data Governance

  • System Integration: Maintain the "Source of Truth" for revenue data, ensuring the CRM accurately reflects financial realizations and signed contracts.

  • Process Adaptability: Support the integration of new revenue streams into our core processes, ensuring data hygiene as the business evolves.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Sales and Operations to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely revenue recognition.

  • Compliance: Assist with financial audits and provide the necessary documentation while ensuring that all client contracts are archived and mapped to the financial system for audit readiness.

Insights & Topline Analytics

  • Forecasting: Build and maintain Rolling Revenue Forecasts based on our existing contract base.

  • Retention Metrics: Analyze Churn and Contraction data to provide leadership with a realistic view of Net Revenue Retention (NRR).

  • Variance Reporting: Prepare monthly Topline Variance reports (Budget vs. Actual) for Management.

The Ideal Profile

  • Qualified Professional: Likely ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a strong understanding of the FinTech or SaaS revenue model.

  • Agile Mindset: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift due to business expansion.

  • Systems Expert: High proficiency in CRM/ERP data management and Excel-based modeling.

  • Audit Ready: Experience managing contract archives and documentation for audit readiness.
