By bringing the right data to the people who need it, Palantir’s platforms empower their partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. This is where Sibyl comes in - we help delivering these impactful workflows, in a variety of settings and formats. From direct hand-in-hand customer interaction, to supporting and guiding the Data Operations in making the right decisions.
What The Role is About
At its core, FDE is fundamentally an engineering role but with a crucial twist. Unlike traditional software engineers, FDEs bring their advanced technical expertise directly to the frontlines, working closely with clients.
FDEs focus on technical execution, developing software, building data pipelines, integrating systems and ensuring everything works reliably at scale. They’re the hands-on engineers making things happen.
You’ll immerse yourself in our customers’ most intricate workflows. You’ll partner with customer teams and explore the data, and plunge into the product landscape to enable us to scale.
Additionally, we’re really excited about building products on top of Palantir’s software. We have our very own Palantir Foundry & AIP stack and the ability to develop impactful products. Come with an idea and a PMF, and we’re happy to collaborate on bringing this reality to life and into customers’ hands.

Here’s a refined version of the Preferred Experience section that better targets the FDE profile you’re hiring for:
Preferred Experience
We operate at the intersection of consulting and startup. Previous experience in either is greatly appreciated. We ask for a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, but this is not a strict requirement: it all depends on what you bring to the table.
1-4 years in management consulting, technical consulting, or professional services
1-2 years in a startup or scale-up environment, ideally in a technical or product-facing role
Experience working directly with clients or end users to scope, build, and deliver technical solutions
Comfort operating with ambiguity: incomplete specs, shifting priorities, and fast iteration cycles
Bonus: exposure to data engineering, data platforms, or enterprise software deployments
