As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Senior SS&A Lead, Spain to our team, based in our central Madrid office. Reporting to the SSNA Ninja Director, you will play a critical role in delivering data-driven insights, shaping market strategy, and ensuring the health of key retail accounts across Spain.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated, strategic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, analytical environment and enjoys collaborating cross-functionally to drive commercial success. You will influence pricing, promotions, and category performance while partnering with multiple teams to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Market & Category Strategy
Act as the category expert, monitoring market trends, pricing strategies, promotional impacts, and competitive positioning.
Ensure the brand consistently gains and maintains market share by proactively addressing category performance gaps.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven category strategies that increase distribution, shelf space, and displays.
Provide real-time POS analysis to support rapid decision-making and strategic adjustments.
Business Performance & Analytics
Lead financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis, to assess business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into key financial and commercial performance metrics.
Collaborate with sales, finance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on strategic priorities.
Communicate actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Strategic Sales Analytics & Reporting
Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports tracking business performance, category trends, and financial metrics.
Analyze market opportunities, identify category gaps, and monitor competitive risks to guide strategic decisions.
Manage the Master Event Calendar for the Spanish market, ensuring smooth coordination of retail initiatives.
Evaluate pre- and post-promotion performance to quantify impact and optimize future strategies.
Track and measure KPIs including promotional lift, pricing elasticity, and overall sales performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and R&D teams to drive alignment and achieve category goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Advanced Analytics degree preferred).
7+ years of experience in strategic sales, category management, or business analytics roles.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into business strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools (BI tools experience is a plus).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership effectively.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying market threats and opportunities.
