Safran Helicopter Engines is looking for new talents to take on tomorrow's challenges. Whether you are passionate about technology, innovation, the environment, or project management, join us to develop your skills and help us shape the future of aeronautics.
Within the Technical Department, in Bordes, we offer an internship in Definition of MBSE Methodology in the Development of Turbine Engine Control Systems
You will be supported by a mentor throughout your internship and will actively participate in projects with high added value for Safran and its clients.
As part of the evolution of systems engineering practices—and in order to enhance complexity management and traceability in the development of our embedded control systems—you will join the engineering team as an intern engineer to help deploy MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) methodology.
Guided by an experienced systems engineer, your main objective will be to support the practical implementation of this methodology, from needs analysis to the selection of appropriate tools.
Your missions will be to participate
- Assessing current systems engineering practices applied to the engine control system.
- Researching and benchmarking existing MBSE methodologies and tools suited to embedded systems engineering.
- Defining and formalizing MBSE best practices, in alignment with industry standards (e.g., ARP4754, SysML, etc.).
- Supporting the selection and onboarding of MBSE tools, and proposing relevant use cases for systems development
- Recommending actions for broader deployment and change management, including guidelines, templates, best practices, and support for industrialization.
You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team and have access to expert resources (documentation, software, feedback). This internship will allow you to gain valuable skills in both systems engineering methodologies and cutting-edge embedded systems technologies.
Final-year Master's or engineering school student specializing in embedded systems, systems engineering, industrial computing, electronics, automation, or a related technical field.
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of systems engineering and/or embedded systems development.
- Strong interest in MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) methodologies and system modeling
- Initial experience in requirements management, model-based design, or system simulation would be a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn new software tools and adapt to innovative methodologies.
- Knowledge of the aerospace or industrial sector.
Attention to documentation quality and to the transmission of best practices
Transversal Skills:
