CONTEXT:

Reforest’Action has been growing at + 100% YoY for several years.

In a context of strong growth and business transformation, we are looking for a Chief Sales Officer who will support the implementation of an ambitious and international growth strategy and help accelerate key strategic

development areas:

  • Carbon project development

  • Regenerative agriculture projects development within value chains

  • Market Innovation (technology based business model for long term impact ; payment for economic services, biodiversity credits, etc.)

  • Positioning as a global Nature Based Solutions key player

YOUR KEY MISSIONS

Reporting to the COO, and as a member of the executive committee, your main responsabilities will be to:

  • Define and apply the commercial strategy, being accountable for sales cost center (net sales/ gross margin)

  • Participate in the definition of our new technology-based business model for longterm impact; develop and sell this new approach.

  • Structure, lead and engage a team of advisors as well as a customer service/ sales support team to implement the strategy and achieve business objectives; develop, implement, track, and improve KPIs and targets

  • Prospect, help to transform and renew large and very large B2B accounts

  • Create opportunities with a “value proposition” approach, generate new revenue opportunities that align with Reforest’Action growth ambition

  • Support the company in its repositioning by securing historical revenues while managing the transition to key accountsExpand international markets through subsidiaries abroad

  • Ensure the compliance, robustness, and application of the main processes & procedures (ie., commercial conditions, professional travel, etc.)


Profil recherché

Qualifications and experiences

  • Knowledge of climate change, its potential impacts on businesses and existing response strategies is a real plus; as well as a knowledge and understanding of market issues : voluntary Carbon market, regenerative agriculture, environmental and climate impact, etc.

  • Proven experience in running a team of +15, strong experience in B2B, with large enterprises customers and long sales cycles.

  • A track record of experience in scale-ups/structuring phase or within a fast paced and international environment

  • Master’s degree in Business administration, marketing or related field.

Your skills & attitudes

  • Analytical mind & data driven

  • Strong influential and emotional intelligence skills with caring, and open-minded attitude

  • A great capacity to communicate, negotiate and contract with very large and international companies

  • Interpersonal communication skills to develop healthy, professional relationships with internal and external “high level” stakeholders.

  • Language proficiency – excellent English language both in writing and speaking, knowledge of multicultural environments (French is a plus)
