Descriptif du poste

We are seeking a commercially driven and highly organised Venue Manager to lead a flagship London centre. This role is a blend of business development and operations: you will ensure an exceptional guest experience, manage and motivate a dynamic team, and drive corporate and private sales to grow Quiz Room’s presence in London.

Business Development & Sales

  • Handle business enquiries and prepare customised proposals for corporate clients

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local companies, agencies, and organisations

  • Take ownership of on-site revenue: upsell drinks, extras, and tailored packages

  • Launch and oversee local marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns

  • Identify opportunities for growth and implement projects to expand Quiz Room’s reach

  • Work to ambitious sales targets and contribute directly to the venue’s commercial success

Venue Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the five-room centre with a strong focus on excellence

  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of permanent and 0-hours staff

  • Manage scheduling and foster a motivating, positive atmosphere

  • Ensure the venue remains immaculate, safe, and fully operational

  • Supervise stock, supplies, and technical equipment

  • Uphold all health, safety, and compliance standards

Customer Experience

  • Deliver a warm, professional welcome to every guest

  • Host and guide groups through the immersive TV quiz experience with energy and clarity

  • Ensure seamless and memorable events for both private and corporate clients

  • Respond promptly to guest feedback to maintain top-tier satisfaction

  • Organise and run premium corporate bookings, team-building events, and private functions

  • Actively encourage and collect positive reviews to boost the venue’s reputation


Profil recherché

  • Excellent communicator with a strong commercial instinct and a natural flair for hospitality

  • Experienced in managing a commercial venue or hospitality site with proven sales performance

  • Skilled in leading, motivating, and developing a team

  • Results-oriented, driven by targets, KPIs, and revenue opportunities

  • Background in hospitality, retail, corporate events, or entertainment is a strong plus

  • Tech-savvy and adaptable with digital booking, CRM, and in-house tools

  • Flexible and available for varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

  • Motivated to build and nurture corporate and community relationships in London
