Your role

We are looking for a passionate Senior Data Scientist (Client Facing) to join our team in Paris.

As a member of the Data Science team, alongside our technical experts, you will get an opportunity to:

• Lead project delivery on data science aspect

• Participate in client meetings and workshops around data science deployment projects

• Scope clients needs and feedback and translating them to achievable data science tasks

• Manage data science team to ensure timely delivery of the project

• Learn about health data and healthcare insurance dynamics

• Improve OCR and NLP pipelines deployed on insurance claims data

• Enhance fraud detection machine learning models

• Explore and analyze big and challenging datasets

• Scale proprietary patient journey optimizer based on state-of-the-art optimal transport

• Supervise the implementation and optimization of associated algorithms

• Integrate this in our python/pytorch/react/postgresql/django stack

Your profile:

• 5+ years previous experience as a Data Scientist

• Strong experience in data science project with emphasis on impactful outcomes and engaging internal or external client collaboration and satisfaction

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences

• Advanced technical skills in Applied Mathematics, preferably in machine learning, probabilistic modeling, computer science, statistics and/or operations research

• Strong analysis and synthesis abilities, not afraid to deal with details

• Able to write and review quality production code

• Fluent in English (Both Verbal and written). Any additional language is a plus

Bonus skills:

• Experience with production-grade projects

• Experience in deep learning and pytorch

• Previous experience working within an agile framework

• Previous startup or insurance industry experience
