Descriptif du poste

THE ROLE Join the Global Revenue Accounting Team in Dublin as a Senior Revenue Accounting Analyst and be a key player in ensuring the financial integrity of a fast-growing public company. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with US GAAP/ASC 606, applying your expertise to complex Hardware, Software, and SaaS revenue transactions. This role requires a continuous improvement mindset and offers the opportunity to partner directly with Deal Desk, Legal, and external auditors, making you a crucial advisor on non-standard contracts and go-to-market strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Ensure strict compliance with US GAAP/ASC 606 by owning and executing monthly/quarterly revenue close tasks, including preparation of close files, SOX controls, and external revenue reporting.
  • Act as an expert advisor by partnering directly with the Deal Desk and Legal Teams to provide essential revenue recognition guidance during contract negotiations and approving non-standard sales orders.
  • Review and prepare complex contract revenue write-ups and memos, ensuring accurate revenue recognition treatment for non-standard terms such as payment arrangements and return rights.
  • Support the integrity of our financial statements by collaborating with our external auditors and preparing quarterly reporting slides and readouts for the CAO and CFO.
  • Drive continuous improvement by contributing to cross-functional initiatives and ad-hoc projects aimed at optimizing financial systems (e.g., Zoura, NetSuite, SAP) and enhancing global revenue processes.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition across various business models, including Hardware, Software, and SaaS.
  • Advanced business and professional judgment to effectively analyze complex transactions from both an accounting and economic perspective.
  • Proven experience supporting the revenue function of a public company, including performing close tasks, maintaining SOX controls, and preparing external reporting schedules.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and advanced Excel modeling skills to manage complex data and perform high-quality financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively multi-task, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and partner across multiple levels, functions, and global locations.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Dublin office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
