Are you passionate about helping customers get the most out of their software? Do you enjoy solving functional challenges and guiding users toward smarter ways of working? We are looking for an Application Manager to join our team in Germany and support our clients in maximizing the value of their Planon application.

About the Role
As an Application Manager, you will be the functional expert and trusted advisor for our customers. You will help manage and optimize their Planon application, ensuring it aligns with their evolving business needs. You will work closely with clients across Germany, both remotely and on-site, to resolve incidents, implement changes and support new releases.

You will be part of a collaborative and international team, working with colleagues across Europe. Our strong partnerships with Planon, Schneider Electric and SAP allow us to offer customers a uniquely flexible and powerful solution portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize the Planon application setup based on customer feedback and new insights
  • Guide customers in using the application effectively through on-the-job training and support
  • Resolve functional incidents and implement configuration changes
  • Advise clients on new features and releases, identifying opportunities for improvement or expansion
  • Create and maintain documentation and user instructions
  • Build strong relationships with clients and act as their go-to expert for application-related questions

We are looking for someone who is proactive, communicative and customer-focused. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are comfortable taking ownership of your work. You are a team player who thrives on collaboration and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a functional IT role, ideally involving software configuration or application management
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Facility Management with IT affinity or a related field
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as ITIL or BISL is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead training sessions and workshops
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally to other European locations
