DEPARTMENT PRESENTATION:

The Commercial Finance Performance team has the key responsibility of connecting financial performance to a broader context, linking our internal sales data with market databases. In this capacity, the team will assess Pernod Ricard’s Volume/Value Market Share and its performance relative to market, from Sell-out value to Net Sales (NS), and from Sell-out volumes to Depletions and Shipments.

  

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mission 1 – Commercial Analysis: Support on analyzing volume performance and pricing compliance while providing insights on market trends and external factors. This will include the follow-up of market sales data (IWSR – largest data provider for the Beverage Alcohol industry and central tool for Pernod Ricards) to inform strategic decisions, delivering market analysis and insights and performing thorough analyses on the consumption drivers by category & geography. 
  • Mission 2 – Commercial Performance Tools: Support on the development and maintenance of the central commercial dashboards for our global Brand Units to enable the scale-up of our sell-out tracking strategy. Support on transversal projects and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Mission 3 –  Sell-Out Insights & Market Objectives: Support to the team on the follow-up and evaluation of the Group Affiliates’ performance: Market Share & Price Monitoring through global and local data sources (Nielsen, Circana, etc.), providing key insights on local & global trends.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Profile requirements: Rigorous, detail-oriented, autonomous, proactive, with strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Hard / Technical Skills: Advanced MS Office Pack (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and previous experience leveraging large databases to generate insights, retail scan (sell out) panel data.
  • Soft Skills and Ambitions: Strong business acumen, developed interpersonal skills, teamwork oriented and service-minded, able to work on multiple projects at the same time, interested in working in an international environment.

  

PROFESSSIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • Final year student in Business/Engineer Schools or Universities equivalent.
  • Previous experience in strategy, business analytics, consulting, category management, or market data providers

Fluency in English is mandatory; French is not required.
