We are looking for a PRODUCT FUNCTIONAL ANALYST to help us define and design our future Verity SaaS product.

You will be responsible for gathering and assessing business requirements and translating them into functional designs. You will be actively work together with product and technical architects to validate your product designs. You will collaborate with the UX/UI designer to define the UI part of the product features. You will evaluate the built product in alignment with the software and test engineers. All this will be done in an agile way of working in a Scrum team defining our future Verity SaaS product step by step.

Target customers for our SaaS product are small to large-size companies active in the energy & environmental sector across Europe.

Key responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, document requirements, and translate these requirements into product features.

  • Functional Design: translate the requirements to product features and define a functional design for these product features. Work closely with UX/UI designer and software engineers to define the technical capabilities of the different product features.

  • Product scrum: contribute to Agile ceremonies, assist in backlog refinement, and support user acceptance testing to validate solutions.

  • Stakeholder communication: act as a liaison between product management team and product engineering team ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Documentation & training – Create and maintain clear product documentation of the SaaS product, define and maintain product training packs.

Profil recherché

We’re looking for people who have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or IT.

  • More than 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role within an IT/SaaS environment.

  • Proven experience in the Energy sector

  • Strong analytical skills to define and translate requirements to product solutions

  • Experienced in data modelling, process modelling and UML designs.

  • Experience writing clear and concise user stories, process flows, and functional specs

  • Excellent communication, solution and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD) is a plus

  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud components and Micro services is a plus

  • Excellent team-player

  • Fluent in English and Dutch
