The new strategic roadmap will focus on amplifying its position in Electrification through new tech solutions, and new market segments, amplified by artificial intelligence.

In a context of a fast moving macro & geopolitical environment, Nexans is strengthening its Business Intelligence capacities to execute its 25-28 ambition.

The strategy & Business Intelligence is in charge of monitoring and assess potential impacts of key trends & shifts (e.g. macroeconomic, geopolitical, environmental, technological evolutions…)

This role will involve working in close collaboration to the Chief of Staff to :

  1. Perform in depth strategic research, analyses for the Chief of Staff, the CEO and Excom members covering broad range of topics such as:

- New regulations impacts

- Industrial strategy definition

- Business units turnaround and optimization

- Market analysis & Macro economics evolution modelling

2. Contribute to the strategic monitoring efforts by gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing market and competitor data

3.Create detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings and provide actionable intelligence to management.

4.Support the Chief of Staff in her day-to-day activities

We are looking for talented people:

  • Strong interest in geopolitics, macro economy and energy transition
  • Motivated, self-driven, interested in learning new concepts and ideas
  • Problem solver, good ability to analyze issues, break problems down in a structured way, and draw insights
  • Impact oriented, has self-drive to identify key issues/root causes and develop solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with strong communication skills: able to influence and convince her/his audience
  • Good written and oral communication; can easily convey messages in a concise way
  • Excellent synthesis and presentation skills
  • Tier 1 Business School (HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, EM Lyon, Edhec), Engineers Schools (X, Centrale Supélec, Mines Paris, Telecom Paris, ENS) or Sciences Po Paris
  • End-of-course internship (>12 months experience)
  • Fluent English oral and writing skills
  • A first experience in strategy consulting or within a group strategy function, investment bank, audit / transaction services is a plus
  • Proven presentation skills
