Profile description:
As Purchasing Digital & Platforms Manager, you will be the referent for ERP-linked Puchasing activities, and Ariba. You will ensure the run, and promote/develop projects on these platforms, in adequation with the strategy defined by the Purchasing Operations Director :
- SAP key user for central IT
- Ariba key user for central IT
- Functional Referent on Ariba related projects
- Functional Referent on all ERP related adaptations in alignment with Central IT
- Support the Purchasing function to build the roadmap of Purchasing IT roadmap, including integration with other platforms
AREA OF RESPONSABILITIES
You will be responsible for :
- Managing the Nexans configuration of Ariba :
- Owner of the Ariba configuration
- Pilot L2 support on a daily basis
- Lead all followups with support platforms (Ariba L2, Purchasing operations support) related to any interface, process modification or Ariba templates modification
- Monitor the health of the platform by requesters, purchasers, and approvers (usage, master data alignment, process clarification)
- Lead discussions with Ariba Support Teams
- Managing the configuration changes and status on all SAPs as functional key-user:
- Ensuring consistency with central master data repository
- Point of contact whenever IT/Finance need clarification or adjustment on configuration
- Liaise on a daily basis with the Operations teams – to document and put in perspective of functional projects
- Advising on any ERP when Ariba / Supplier Master data projects mandate convergence to :
- Central Supplier Master Data platform
- Ariba
- Coordinating with Supply Chain and Finance functional leads :
- Interfacing with Finance lead on invoice platform, if all Finance tools
- Ensuring correct customs and tax data availability
- Represent Purchasing on any alignment / continuous improvement initiative
- Propose continuous improvement approach and monitor effectiveness of implementation
- Ensuring visibility on platforms total cost of ownership, and eventually proposing improvements.
- Animate and manage a team of data/Ariba specialists
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES :
Education and training:
University diploma (master) or equivalent (experience)
Experience:
Ideally, you have a strong purchasing/IT experience with at least 10 years working experience in industrial and global environments
Technical knowledge and skills:
- Fluent English
- Outsourced Teams management
- Leadership and ability to work within a network
- Strong SAP expertise
- Strong Ariba technical and functional knowledge
- Good understanding of Accounting/Supply Chain issues related to Purchasing
