Ningbo Minfu Mechanics Co., Ltd. was founded in Ningbo Xiaogang Industrial Development Zone in 1992. It was a small company and also a prologue to the establishment of MINTH. In 1997, the company combined several branches into a corporation, and at the same time expanded into a new field: automotive exterior trim. On December 1, 2005, MINTH went public on Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 0425). Now it has evolved into one of the top 100 global auto parts manufacturers, has set up plants and R & D centers all over Asia, Europe and North America etc., has established over 50 plants and 4 R & D centers in China, the U.S., Japan, Thailand, Germany, Mexico, Serbia and the U.K, and has more than 18,000 employees all over the world.

Digiteq Automotive designs, develops, and deploys complex electronic systems that make driving safer and more comfortable. For example, they teach cars to perform selected actions autonomously or ensure that cars "talk"; not only to each other but also to you and their surroundings. Their parent companies, Skoda Auto and CARIAD, are part of the Volkswagen Group, as is Digiteq Automotive. This allows them to participate in projects for several of the Volkswagen Group´s brands. They boast state-of-the-art development and testing laboratories in Prague, Pilsen, Mladá Boleslav, and the latest in Brno. Some of their biggest projects include robotic parking or carsharing technology.
