Mobilize Financial Services is Renault Group’s global banking group, helping 4.7 million customers across the world finance their car in 2021 alone.

The role

As one of the founding members of the team, you’ll be responsible for:

• Implementation of billing and payment systems and various interfaces with the accounting department
• Coordination of the current accounting service provider
• Preparing the evolution and defining the prerequisites for a full in-house accounting system
• Accounting closing
• Accounting and regulatory reporting
• Tax returns
• Definition of accounting processes and procedures

In this role, you will report to the CFO of Mobilize Pay, and will be based in central Paris. We fully support flexible working, but love to collaborate in real life a few days a week to get the most out of the experience.

This role is for you if you:

• Have a degree in finance or accounting
• Have experience creating accounting processes in a fintech or project from the ground up
• Have strong knowledge of European banking and regulatory framework
• Are comfortable operating at all levels – presenting at Board presentations to rolling up your sleeves to get things done, even if they are outside your core area of expertise
• Strategic thinker, able to recommend solutions that balances business and accounting perspectives

Typically, people with 8+ years of post-qualification experience in accountings have developed the tactical skills to be successful in this role. But we believe this is not the best predictor of future performance and that people learn fast – so if all this sounds exciting to you, we’d love to meet you!
