GNC System Engineer

Within your multidisciplinary team you will have a role of System Engineer for industrial mission from mission preparation until post-flight exploitation. 

In this perimeter your responsibilities will include the support to Architect and GNC team covering some or all of the following points 

• Contribute with architect to global consistency of GNC definition, specification and validation plan, 

• Contribute to ensure consistency of validation process, from system point of view in interaction with all other sub-systems, for the first flights FM1 and FM2, identify risks, identify discrepancies,  

• Share and maintain the validation process for QM2, First Stage tests and FM1 and FM2 

• Present and share a synthesis of the GNC validation results inside the teams and towards external teams to ensure system consistency 

• Contribute, in collaboration with AO and GNC team to ensure consistency of mission preparation for the first flights FM1 and FM2, identify risks, identify discrepancies,  

• Lead GNC preparation for QM2 and First stage tests in I/F with test teams and GNC team 

• Lead mission preparation to ensure readiness for the flights 

• Contribute to flight exploitation preparation and post-explotation 

• Overseeing of subcontracted work in your responsibility field: Scope of work definition, Contract management and follow-up, Delivery acceptance 

•  Contribute to the overall launch system definition: Contribute to the engineering effort of your team and cross-functionally between teams, even if it involves work outside your main field of action, in order to contribute to the vehicle system synthesis. 

Requirements:

🛸Specific Skills & Know-how

• Competencies in GNC algorithms 

• Knowledge of Validation process and Flight preparation 

• System Engineering 

• Proficiency in programming languages (Matlab, Simulink,...). 

• Good level of English 

• Team spirit, sharing and solidarity

• Curiosity, Adaptation 

• Pragmatism 

🎓Qualification: 

• Generalist engineer. 

• Level : 5/10 years’ experience in GNC validation or production phases, Validation process and/or Launcher System engineering .
